In this letter to Roger Money-Kyrle on the topic of Melanie Klein’s seventieth birthday book, Winnicott says that the topic of classification he was to write about for the Klein collection is dependent on her theories but that it is too much for him to do in time. He notes that he may have his paper on transitional phenomena ready, and he refers to his own health and to the demands of his practice.
