In this letter to Edward Glover, Winnicott notes Glover’s belief that Winnicott’s and Klein’s psychoanalytic ideas are not based on the objective perception of children’s ideas, and that this is the source of their scientific differences. Winnicott recognizes the valuable effect of Glover’s scepticism.
