In this paper, Winnicott discusses the meaning of freedom in light of the concepts of health and creativity. Winnicott explores psychiatric health in respect of freedom and the general development of individuals in a society whose freedom needs to be managed without becoming too restrictive whether in the home or in the wider political sense.
