Sources for the Collected Works include the published volumes of Winnicott’s work, together with additional material from the Winnicott Archives, held at the Wellcome Library, London, and the Oskar Diethelm Library, Cornell Medical Center, New York; the Archives of the Institute of Psychoanalysis, London; the National Archives, Kew, UK; the British Library; the University of London Library at Senate House; the Bodleian Library, Oxford; and the archives of individual past editors of the Winnicott Trust. The Collected Works is as comprehensive as current sources allow; the online edition will enable the addition of any further material should it become available. The Winnicott Archives at Wellcome and Cornell contain considerable material that cannot legally be accessed for reasons of confidentiality. Unless otherwise noted, all works appear courtesy of the Winnicott Trust.
