Chapter 12 outlines the eighth therapy session, which is the final weekly session of the program. This reviews the progress that has been made on developing a competing response (CR) for tics so far and begins the function-based assessment and habit reversal training (HRT) for the patient’s remaining tics. Relapse prevention is further discussed, and the patient is prepared for the termination of the treatment program.
