Chapter 6 explores skills training in relaxation-based strategies with children and adolescents, including methods of instructing patients in deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, imagery and hypnosis, and mini-relaxation strategies. The use of biofeedback for behavioral skills training with children and adolescents is also presented.
