Peer management interventions include strategies in which a student interventionist is trained to prompt, reinforce, and/or provide feedback on other students’ nonacademic behaviors (e.g., providing tokens for appropriate hand-raising, providing praise for joining ongoing groups on the playground). This chapter describes the variety of behaviors that have been addressed using peer management intervention. This chapter also discusses recommendations for implementing peer management interventions in schools, including considerations of diversity and equity within peer management interventions. Sample scripts and intervention materials are included.
