This introductory chapter contains information about how to diagnose ADHD in adolescents, how this treatment program was developed, the studies that were conducted using this program with adults and adolescents with ADHD. Information is provided regarding Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ADHD and how it differs from other types of therapy, the CBT model of ADHD, and outlines of the different modules of the treatment program.
