During session 9, the therapist prepares the youth for the upcoming exposure sessions by introducing the emotional, physical, cognitive, and behavioral components of every response, as well as their relationship to cues. The child and therapist work together to select a firm set of cues to use during session 10. Strategies and worksheets for identifying productive cues are presented and described along with supplemental illustrations.
