In his letter to Money-Kyrle dealing with Melanie Klein’s seventieth birthday commemorations, Winnicott argues against any topic that could increase tension in the society but also suggests there is nevertheless no point in an ‘official’ collection of papers by colleagues that avoids the points of difference that exist between them.
