In this review, Winnicott expresses his enthusiasm for this summary of research done at the Henry Ittleson Centre, New York City, where the research team works with those who are involved in therapeutic work with children. He compliments the research design, which includes observation of carefully matched controls, and the statistically significant results obtained.
