In this further short piece related to his paper ‘The Location of Cultural Experience’, Winnicott uses his clinical experience and his own dreaming ‘on the sleep side of the line between waking and dreaming’ to describe the inner as well as the outer location of cultural experience. Winnicott locates this place, from which the artist might create his writing in us all.
