12th November 1951.

Dr. W. Clifford M. Scott,

49 Queen’s Gate Gardens,

S.W.7.

Dear Scott,

Thank you for your letter. I was glad to have your definite opinion about the applicants recommended for therapeutic analysis, and I will continue along the lines of my predecessors.

In regards to Drs. Risquez and Gosling, I suppose it might be possible to find one of the analysts who have recently become members and who are not yet training analysts. Just at the moment I have no-one to suggest but I would like to know whether you would agree to our sending out jointly something like what is appended.

Yours sincerely,

D.W.Winnicott.

P.S.

I believe Bion and Waterlow might take cases just now.
