Dear Elizabeth,

We had a very nice letter from you today, and it made us feel homesick for Hubbard Park.

I did so much hope to write you first because your book has been on my desk for a week + I so very much like it, and to have it. I think I have already read nearly all of it but I look forward to the luxury of total immersion.

I suppose the pool is now covered over to keep the leaves out, but at any rate there’s Lou + tennis. We are glad to hear of Jim’s fellowship. Also we like to be kept up to date in regard to Stacey of her long grind towards the medical qualification.

Our love to you all and HOORAY FOR THE BOOK1
