Chapter 4 further examines generalised anxiety disorder (GAD). The causes of abnormal worry, the interaction of factors that cause and maintain anxiety, and the effects of too much anxiety and worry are all discussed. The processes by which this training program will help the client learn to become less anxious is also outlined.
