Chapter 2 discusses pre-intervention assessment and planning, using the Albany Sleep Problems Scale (ASPS), and a questionnaire covering sleep habits, night waking, sleepiness, medication use, nightmares and sleep terrors, hypersomnia and narcolepsy, breathing, sleepwalking, and bedwetting. The Sleep Diary and Behavior Log are introduced.
