Chapter 4 presents the fourth session of CBSM treatment. This session includes special place imagery as a method of relaxation training, and exercises to combine special place imagery with PMR. The stress management module explores common cognitive distortions that participants may encounter. These include all-or-nothing thinking, overgeneralization, jumping to conclusions, catastrophizing, emotional reasoning, labelling. Processes for labelling negative thoughts and changing negative thoughts about sexuality are also discussed.
