Chapter 5 outlines session five of the CBSM group program. This session focuses on relaxation training for healing and well-being, and includes a scripted relaxation exercise. The session also introduces irrational, rational, and rationalized thoughts, and includes guidance and exercises to help participants replace negative automatic thoughts with more rational responses to stressful situations.
