Chapter 11 discusses booster sessions that take place following the conclusion of the main SAM program. The goals for this stage of treatment are (a) patients’ continued application of therapy skills to their discontinuation difficulties and (b) extension of their therapy skills to ensure their success in maintaining a panic-free status over the long term.
