Chapter 2 explores clinical assessment of childhood OCD. This includes the differences between OCD and developmentally appropriate behavior, differential and comorbid diagnoses, and recommended measures (Children’s Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale (CY-BOCS), Family Accommodation and Impact Scale-Child (FAIS-C)), as well as adaptations and procedural differences for younger children, and family considerations.
