Chapter 3 discusses breaking barriers to exercise. This chapter introduces some of the situational factors that can interfere with establishing a program of regular exercise, including motivation, changing conditions in order to enhance motivation, timing, planning exercise (clothing, music, route, heart rate tracking, exercise partners), and other support systems that are available.
