This chapter outlines assessment procedures for the treatment of obsessions. It presents an example semi-structured interview, and discusses the obsessive-compulsive inventory (OCI), and measurement of obsessional activity, personal significance, thought-action fusion (TAF) scale, Beck depression inventory (BDI), and behavioural tests.
