This chapter explores memory disorders. It first discusses the five memory systems (episodic, semantic, primary, perceptual representation, and procedural memory), before presenting a selection of articles, case reports, and commentaries on topics including brain damage as a result of cardiac arrest, transient global amnesia, Alzheimer’s disease, and neuropsychiatric conditions.
