This chapter focuses on the pharmacological treatmentof persecutory delusions within the broader context of the pharmacologicaltreatment of psychotic disorders and in particular the treatment of schizophrenicdisorders. Its conclusions about the pharmacologicaltreatment of persecutory delusions draw on inferences from the treatmentof disorders in which the presenting symptoms are both extensive and variable, albeit often including persecutory delusions.
