The group begins with discussion of challenges in choosing items to bring for sorting practice. Leaders review the use of behavioral experiments, and clients practice these methods. Leaders teach clients to use a systematic strategy for problem-solving consisting of defining the problem, generating a variety of solutions, picking a solution, and trying it out and determining whether it was successful. Case vignettes illustrate these methods.
