Two models for defining/identifying evidence-based psychotherapies (EBPs) are described. Training practices at the individual level and the Access Model of dissemination at the system level are outlined. The case example of Veterans Health Administration's implementation of EBPs is presented. Challenges are discussed and recommendations are offered.
